Daniel Butterfield is an independent singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and mix/mastering engineer. His music is largely inspired by classic rock and pop music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, (less so), and the 21st century.
As a multi-instrumentalist, he plays the drums, guitar, piano/keyboards, bass guitar, flute, trumpet, alto saxophone, tenor saxophone, harmonica, violin, lap steel guitar, congas, timbales, and Latin percussion instruments. In the future, he will be adding banjo, mandolin, and chromatic harmonica to his repertoire.
(At this point in his career, due to a rather severe case of adult onset schizophrenia and the need to do a lot of preliminary work, he is keeping a low profile, and will be marketing his music gradually, as he seeks sympathetic audiences and press coverage.)
His debut album, Self Confidence, was released independently in 2022. Here it is, courtesy of Spotify.
